Join the CPU Platform Architecture team at Apple to explore and define next-generation CPU architectures for iPhone, iPad, and Mac designs.

Requirements

• B.S. degree
• Familiarity with CPU architecture or microarchitecture concepts
• Research experience and knowledge of CPU microarchitecture or AI/ML literature
• Programming experience in either Python or C/C++

Responsibilities

• Discover insight into CPU performance bottlenecks and drive improvements through architectural enhancements
• Set direction for next-generation high-performance CPU's in various areas
• Build tools for performance analysis and apply AI/ML techniques for exploration
• Conduct continuous research, brainstorm ideas, and present findings to guide CPU architecture teams
• Work cross-functionally with software and system partners
