Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

Apple's System Firmware and Diagnostics team is seeking an enthusiastic embedded firmware engineer to design, develop, and debug firmware for manufacturing and testing processes of popular products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming
• Background in embedded firmware development in multi-threaded systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both peer and management audiences

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement manufacturing systems firmware for complex embedded devices
• Write firmware and drivers for interfaces, chipsets, and communications protocols
• Work closely with partners in various engineering disciplines
