Touch HW EE Validation Engineer

Job Description

The engineer in this role will be responsible for defining and architecting solutions to solve complex test and validation problems related to touch sensor technology and will lead the development and execution of engineering validation methodologies for Apple's touch solutions.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong background in analog/mixed-signal testing methodologies
• Proficiency in software and algorithm prototyping/analysis using Matlab/Python
• Experience in HW prototyping, Design of Experiments (DoE), and Failure Analysis/Corrective Action (FA/CA)
• Excellent project management skills and written/verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Defining and architecting solutions to solve complex test and validation problems
• Developing analytical models to understand test system interaction with Touch sensor
• Driving strategies with multi-functional teams to decode test and validation problems
• Leading engineering validation and characterization methodologies for Apple's touch solutions
• Designing HW & SW infrastructure for test solutions
• Managing vendors to implement validation tools and infrastructure
• Performing failure mode analysis with advanced detailed analysis tools
• Authoring reports and communications related to key concepts and results
