Wireless Module Test Engineer

Job Description

The Wireless Module Test Engineering Lead (WMTE) position at Apple involves designing and driving strategies for high-volume RF module tests at module factories for various wireless technologies.

Requirements

• BS with 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Programming experience in C, C++, Matlab, Python, or other similar language
• Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment and programming high-volume automatic test equipment (ATE) testers
• Deep understanding of wireless technologies
• Skilled at driving cross-functional decision-making and collaborating with various test teams
• Highly self-motivated and capable of leading vendors and test partners

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement test strategy/methodology across wireless technologies at module factories
• Own and debug test stations at module factories
• Ensure Wireless module tests are planned around upstream and downstream tests at multiple vendors
• Drive module vendors, fixture suppliers, and instrument vendors for test implementation
• Analyze volume data to finalize test requirements and provide feedback on engineering decisions
