Sr. Environment, Health & Safety Counsel

Job Description

Apple is seeking a Senior Environment, Health & Safety Counsel to provide legal support for all its products and businesses globally, focusing on EH&S issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience at a top law firm or in-house
• Knowledge of global environment, health and safety regulations applicable to various real estate facilities
• Experience providing strategic, practical, and actionable advice to business teams
• JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar

Responsibilities

• Advising internal business partners on environmental, health, and safety regulatory matters
• Developing strategies for EH&S regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
• Monitoring updates to global EH&S regulations and ensuring company-wide compliance procedures
• Investigating and responding to compliance orders and enforcement actions
• Coordinating internal and external investigations, compliance reviews, and monitoring activities
• Providing strategic guidance on managing relationships with regulatory bodies
• Supporting environmental due diligence for real property transactions
