Requirements

• BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
• Working knowledge of wireless communication systems (e.g., OFDM/MIMO, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with lab testing and characterization
• Proven experience in algorithm development and implementational design of communication systems or signal processing algorithms
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues
• Experience with Matlab or Python and/or C/C++ for algorithm development, modeling, and simulation
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Designing and simulating wireless communication systems for high data rate applications
• Implementing system models and investigating algorithms for performance enhancements
• Designing control procedures of the physical layer hardware modules for optimal performance
• Collaborating with digital and firmware designers to realize methods efficiently
• Bringing up, testing, characterizing, and optimizing real silicon in the lab
