Cellular RF Firmware Engineer

Job Description

Develop embedded systems for cellular RF transceivers and radio systems as part of an elite RF transceiver team at Apple.

Requirements

• BS with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in low-level programming using C++, C, and assembler
• Strong skills in computer architecture and HW/SW co-verification
• Proficiency in debugging embedded software systems
• Experience with JTAG and ETM Trace tools
• Proficient in Python and shell scripting

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, and implement the RF firmware architecture for mobile wireless communications systems
• Design, develop, and optimize RF processing algorithms for cellular systems
• Implement RF device drivers and control software for RF transceivers
• Collaborate with system engineers, hardware developers, and system verification/integration engineers
• Maintain and develop shell scripts, Python infrastructure, and cellular verification libraries
