SerDes Lead Circuit Design Engineer

Job Description

Seeking talented Analog Mixed-Signal designers to join the high-speed SerDes team at Apple, specializing in building next-generation high-performance wireline transceivers.

Requirements

• BSEE with 20+ years of proven experience
• Deep understanding of analog mixed-signal design with experience in high-speed serial links
• Solid understanding and experience of designing analog mixed signal circuit blocks
• Proven track record of working with system and architecture teams to drive block-level and IP requirements
• Experience with high-speed digital circuits and equalization techniques for 64-100+ Gbps NRZ and PAM applications
• Experience in Analog Mixed-Signal circuit modeling and performance evaluation

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance and high-speed AMS circuits for SerDes PHY
• Lead discussions with cross-functional teams to create and drive block-level specifications and mixed-signal implementations
• Interact with peers/management to communicate progress, discuss new ideas, and drive new implementations/concepts
• Collaborate with SOC teams to deliver IP views and ensure quality standards are met
• Drive lab testing, debug, and data analysis
