Senior Content Engineer, Swift

Job Description

Apple is seeking an Open Source Software Engineer to drive adoption of Swift on Linux and other platforms by creating high-quality content and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience building content programs for an open source community/ecosystem
• Strong technical writing skills and experience with documenting programming languages
• Experience with GitHub and content publishing tools
• 3+ years of software development experience with a general-purpose programming language
• 2+ years working with open source projects community/ecosystem
• 2+ years of experience working in a Linux environment
• Great communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Drive content initiatives to attract new community members to Swift programming language
• Write content for various channels such as swift.org and forums.swift.org
• Help troubleshoot, debug, and guide Swift developers
• Recommend improvements for Swift Package Manager and other ecosystem tools
