Senior Program Manager, WorldWide Logistics Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR)

Job Description

As a Senior Program Manager at Apple, you will lead business process re-engineering efforts to drive process optimization, cost minimization, and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Computer Science, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain management with expertise in logistics, fulfillment, transportation, global trade compliance, procurement, or supply chain operations
• Experience in driving supply chain process improvement using Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies
• Experience in planning, managing, and delivering medium to large projects
• Proficient knowledge of systems implementation and development life cycles
• Proficiency in process modeling tools, MS Excel, and basic project planning tools

Responsibilities

• Gather and synthesize detailed global business requirements and design specifications
• Assess current processes and develop/implement future business processes
• Serve as a liaison to Operation teams for technology systems solutions
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities
• Act as a liaison between business teams and IS&T for technology solutions
• Drive design, development, and implementation of solutions for customers
• Define and manage business process and technology roadmaps
• Implement new ideas within the Apple culture and influence decisions through collaboration
• Provide functional subject matter expertise
• Manage complex projects, develop project justifications, and obtain executive approval
• Develop and maintain project governance documentation
• Facilitate project-related testing, roll-out, and post-mortem work
• Provide timely updates and escalate critical risks to project and senior executive teams
