Layout Design Engineer

Job Description

Apple Silicon Engineering is seeking creative Layout Designers to design the next generation of Apple's world-leading systems-on-chip (SOCs).

Requirements

• B.S. EE & CS or equivalent plus 3 years of proven experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with CAD tools like Virtuoso, Innovus, Calibre
• Programming knowledge in SKILL, Perl, and/or Python

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver the physical implementation of complex Analog circuits
• Collaborate with highly skilled teams to develop next-generation SOCs
• Run a complete set of design verification tools and interpret results accurately
• Use advanced CAD tools and mask design knowledge to layout robust physical design representation of circuits
