Mixed Signal Hardware Design Engineer

Job Description

Apple is seeking a Mixed Signal Hardware Design Engineer to join their Wireless Hardware group and work on groundbreaking wireless connectivity solutions for all Apple products.

Requirements

• B.S. and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Good understanding of protocol specifications for communication interfaces like PCIe, MIPI, I2C, SPI, UART etc.
• Experience with power supply/power management and power distribution networks
• Hands-on debug experience with modern lab equipment (DSOs, Logic Analyzers, Protocol Analyzers)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with internal hardware, software, and silicon teams to define system interconnects and power supplies
• Implement product schematics and layout
• Bring-up, characterize, and validate new digital interfaces + protocols
• Work on power supply application circuit design and validation
• Collaborate with external chipset vendors for integration and verification
