Senior iOS Software Engineer - Proximity

Job Description

Apple is seeking a highly-motivated engineer with excellent software development skills to join their Location and Motion team. The role involves working on spatially-aware technology to provide seamless and magical experiences to users.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience as a software developer on mobile or embedded platforms
• Experience with wireless sensing, probabilistic estimation, statistical reasoning, and embedded platforms
• Familiarity with modern object-oriented programming languages such as C++ or Swift
• Comfortable developing in Unix-like systems
• Comfortable navigating, managing, and improving large code bases

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve iOS applications and tools for continuous integration, data analysis, and visualization
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from concept to production
• Communicate and promote ideas within the team
• Maintain a strong commitment to software quality, engineering productivity, and automation
