Battery System Quality Engineer

Job Description

Develop, design, and run tests for battery powered products at Apple.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• 3+ years of programming experience in Python and/or C/C++
• Experience in automation and testing consumer products

Responsibilities

• Develop and run battery technology test plans with primary focus on customer experience
• Review existing test coverage and identify areas for improvement
• Triage, debug and conduct in-depth battery analysis of software, hardware and system issues
• Apply data-driven expertise and deep engineering knowledge to influence program decisions
• Collaborate and provide cross functional teams with detailed status and progress throughout the development cycle
• Evaluate existing tools and opportunities to incorporate new tools into the testing process
