Touch Sensing HW-Algorithm Systems Engineer

Job Description

Develop advanced sensing algorithms for future Apple products with a focus on sensor architectures and algorithm prototyping.

Requirements

• BS degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
• Strong background in imaging, digital signal processing, estimation, machine learning, or mathematical modeling
• Experience with sensor interfacing, signal conditioning, and signal-to-noise analysis
• Proficiency in prototyping/analysis scripting languages like MATLAB/Python
• Hands-on experience in system-level design of imaging or sensing systems

Responsibilities

• Developing advanced sensing algorithms for future Apple products
• Analyzing sensor architectures and assessing algorithm HW and performance requirements
• Collaborating with Electrical Engineering, Firmware Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering teams
• Using estimation and machine learning techniques to analyze and improve sensor architectures
• Authoring technical communications for executive and multi-functional briefings
