Job Description

The Advance Manufacturing Engineer at Apple is responsible for designing precision assembly and measurement processes for Apple products, focusing on research and development of new technologies to address complex assembly and automation challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of strong work experience in precision assembly, inspection, and automation equipment
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering field
• Ability to travel 20-25%

Responsibilities

• Develop new and/or improved processes through theoretical and practical engineering
• Provide direction and mentorship to third party machine/automation suppliers
• Organize cross-functional reviews of machine requirements, design, qualification, and capability
• Drive machine qualification, failure analysis, and issue resolution
• Perform assignments in Design for Manufacturability and Product Engineering
