Operations Program Manager PRQ & AppleCare - Watch

Job Description

The Operations Program Manager for Post Ramp Qualification and AppleCare (PRQ & AC OPM) team plays a key role in launching Apple’s new products on time with superior quality and maximum customer availability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, project management, process engineering, or product development
• MS or BS Degree

Responsibilities

• Lead Apple cross-functional teams & Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations teams to plan, execute and report status of PRQ and AppleCare projects
• Work with OEM to plan PRQ qualification builds, secure materials, line readiness and monitor progress PRQ builds
• Manage component readiness to ensure part availability, quality and cost
• Plan capacity and lead factory equipment budget for AppleCare production
• Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams
• Program manage key issues, assess associated risks and communicate clearly across all levels of organization. Report current status and options for resolution to cross-functional teams and management
• Drive PRQ and AppleCare factory readiness with engineering, operations and OEM teams
• Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality
• Lead all communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams
