Semiconductor Facilities Engineer

Job Description

The facilities engineer will be responsible for supporting the operations of a semiconductor wafer research facility by maintaining systems for equipment operations and training, safety, maintenance, and repairs of support equipment.

Requirements

• Experience working on industrial-grade HVAC systems
• 3+ years working with hazardous chemicals and gas systems
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds
• Knowledge of SCADA systems such as Factory-Talk and Ignition
• Knowledgeable in energy management systems

Responsibilities

• Support facility operations for a broad suite of process tools in a semiconductor wafer research facility
• Establish and maintain systems for equipment operations and training, safety, maintenance, and repairs of support equipment
• Interact with internal cross-functional teams, external partners, government agencies, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Participate in rotating on-call duties monitoring and responding to gas life safety systems, fire alarms, and critical facilities alarms
• Plan for and provide hands-on coordination of major facilities equipment repairs, maintenance, modifications, and installations
