Operations Test Engineer

Job Description

The Operations Test Engineering team at Apple is seeking an individual with strong technical and interpersonal skills to work on manufacturing test solutions for new products.

Requirements

• 7+ years of work experience in assembly, inspection, test station design, test development, maintenance, and/or automation equipment
• BS or MS degree in mechanical, electrical, or similar engineering discipline

Responsibilities

• Design for Testability
• Product Life Cycle Engineering
• Lead the optimization of test solutions
• Test Process Engineering
• Failure/Data Analysis
• Improve product quality and cost
• Develop new and improved processes
• Provide mentorship to third party vendors/automation suppliers
• Drive failure analysis and machine issue resolution
• Prepare and present Test Engineering program status updates
