SoC Validation Engineer

Job Description

Join Apple's Silicon Validation Team to focus on silicon validation, debug, and root cause analysis related to anomalous behaviors using system workloads.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant proven experience in silicon validation engineering or related field
• Experience with SoC bring up
• Experience with System debug
• Knowledge of computer architectures, cache, memory hierarchy, and data pipelines
• Experience with script languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional test writers to define validation plans for Apple SoCs
• Execute system tests on prototype SoCs across PVT corners
• Debug and isolate failures, work on root cause analysis, and propose solutions
• Characterize functional voltages of SoCs under system workloads
• Collaborate with downstream testing teams to resolve issues
