Software Engineer (BI Tools Platform), Ai & Data Platforms

Job Description

Apple's Global Business Intelligence (GBI) team is seeking an experienced BI Tools Platform Engineer to build high quality, scalable and resilient distributed systems that power apple's analytics platform.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Computer Science, equivalent degree or relevant experience
• 3+ years experience with Tableau, Thoughtspot or similar tools
• Experience with programming in Python and Java
• Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Strong understanding of BI and Analytics space, with exposure to multiple tools and their use cases
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple deployments on hybrid cloud environments
• Ensuring reliability and resiliency of the platform
• Building scripts to automate infrastructure activities, system upgrade, and governance
• Collaborating with product vendors to investigate and resolve product related issues
• Administering Tableau platform, performing platform engineering, release management, reliability engineering, infrastructure planning, health checks and alerting
