Software Engineer - Biophotonics

Job Description

The Biophotonics software team at Apple is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to help design and execute software development efforts. The candidate will work closely with the project's software engineers to develop solutions enabling progress on research and development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or a combination of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
• Software development experience in an industrial setting
• Development experience in one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python, Java, Go, Rust, or Swift

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software architecture definitions
• Create development plans
• Translate application feature requests into reusable software
• Execute plans for new and existing large scale applications
• Develop automation and control of embedded platforms
• Develop software support tools and web services
• Implement and maintain data management and storage systems
