SoC Characterization Product Engineer

Join our Silicon Technologies group to help design and manufacture high-performance, power-efficient processors and system-on-chips for Apple's next-generation devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing Process
• Expertise in system level/motherboard characterization and data collection
• Proficiency in programming with Scripting languages like PERL, Python
• Knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer
• Experience in board bring up, hardware design, and PDN noise analysis is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis, characterization, and fault isolation to resolve root cause issues
• Correlate between ATE and different hardware setups
• Partner with design, process, and test engineers to implement corrective actions
• Define production screening guard-band specifications based on design intent
• Analyze mass data sets statistically to set up test limits
• Conduct yield analyses and correlation analysis for test insertions
• Support test time reduction related characterization activities
• Coordinate test-related activities and reviews with internal and external groups
