The Sensor Technology team at Apple is focused on developing cutting-edge sensor solutions and technologies to enhance user experience in Apple products.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong logical thought process and analytical skill set
• Experience in analog and mixed-signal design
• Proficiency in FEA (Comsol, ANSYS, Maxwell), MATLAB, SPICE, or similar simulation tools

Responsibilities

• Conduct sensor technology scoping and proof-of-concept investigations
• Support product definition, market surveys, and competitive analysis
• Collaborate with different technology teams to evaluate system design options
• Provide cross-functional leadership, guidance, and mentoring to engineers
• Design and model sensor modules
• Define end-to-end applications and optimize designs across multidisciplinary boundaries
• Perform failure mode analysis, root cause diagnosis, and system-level problem solving
• Analyze, validate, and characterize designs
• Business travel to support product development
