Silicon Validation Engineer - RF mmW Test

Job Description

Join Apple's growing mmW and cellular wireless design team as an RF/mmW test engineer responsible for the characterization of RF SoC IPs and wireless communication devices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of RF and/or mmW characterization experience
• Strong RF background and familiarity with RF systems fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment
• Experience in end-to-end RF measurements
• Good understanding of radio system flows
• Excellent collaboration skills
• BS and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct bench test, debug, and characterization of RF SoC IPs
• Perform system integration and optimization of wireless SoCs and RF evaluation boards
• Perform conducted and radiated RF measurements
• Work with design engineers to develop test plans and analyze test data
• Research and develop calibration and measurement techniques
• Automate repetitive measurements
• Generate test logs and scripts for ATE test programs
• Perform bench, ATE, and simulation data correlation
