Job Description

Join our dynamic Product Operations team at Apple and lead the Operations technical teams during the development of the next generation products.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering in a Manufacturing setting

Responsibilities

• Support technical readiness during program development cycle
• Drive project quality issues with material, process, fixtures, equipment etc.
• Utilize industry-standard tools to proactively identify and address risks
• Establish quality programs and process control plans
• Manage the Product Quality Plan (PQP)
• Develop and implement new technologies to improve production quality
• Communicate technical updates to the executive team
• Manage the quality processes at the OEMs
• Evaluate prospective suppliers regarding quality management
• Incorporate lessons learned from sustaining / shipping products into design and process improvements
• Work with commodity managers and supplier quality engineers to ensure component quality & reliability
