Display Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Apple's Display Technologies group is looking for Mechanical Engineers to design and develop innovative display modules for future products.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of experience
• Expertise in mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Experience leading mechanical design & validation
• Experience with diverse manufacturing techniques and materials
• Failure analysis experience

Responsibilities

• Define the module mechanical architecture based on various requirements
• Work with the system team to define the interface to the product
• Support the product through engineering development, mass-production ramp-up, and launch
• Achieve system goals through mechanical design optimization, prototyping, and new material qualification
• Define & implement validation plans for ME characteristics of the display modules
• Drive detailed failure analyses and ensure specifications are met throughout the supply chain
