Engineering Manager, Pricing-Subscriptions & Infrastructure - Apple Services Engineering

Job Description

Apple Services Engineering is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Pricing - Subscriptions & Infrastructure team, driving the design and development of systems that support complex business, data, and infrastructure needs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in Java, RESTful Services, relational databases, and NoSQL systems like Cassandra
• Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills
• Hands-on experience building highly performant scalable services
• Experience working in large, complex codebases
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Proven track record of enforcing and contributing to team-wide best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience in technical and people leadership
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lead and engage with multiple teams or partner organizations

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new and existing features, data models, services, APIs, and workflows for the pricing subscriptions platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful software solutions that scale globally
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and ensure best practices in coding standards, automation, and continuous deployment
• Manage technical challenges in building highly scalable and secure systems
• Drive technical vision and direction in ambiguous areas and take ownership of critical projects
