Hardware Reliability Engineer - Display/Touch Module Reliability

Job Description

As a Reliability Engineer at Apple’s Module Reliability Group, you will guide the reliable development of display and touch technologies by identifying high-risk failure modes early in the design life cycle and collaborating with design engineering teams to reduce the risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical field (engineering, physics, etc)
• 3+ years of experience in an engineering role
• Collaborative attitude and ability to cross-functionally work effectively
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to travel internationally without restrictions

Responsibilities

• Identifying high risk failure modes early in the design life cycle
• Collaborating with design engineering teams to reduce risk
• Developing new tests based on the physics of failure and expected user behaviors
• Delivering test equipment and specifications critical to validate product reliability
• Working with vendors to meet reliability requirements
• Supporting failure analysis and providing direction based on evaluation of test data
