HW Systems Engineer – Biophotonics

Job Description

The Biophotonics EE team at Apple is seeking a HW Systems Engineer to work on building innovative prototype hardware systems.

Requirements

• BS in EE or related field
• Experience with schematic capture tools such as Eagle, Altium, or Cadence
• Experience with hand-on bringup and testing of PCBs with analog sensors, ADCs, FPGAs
• Experience designing or simulating circuits for PCBs or ICs
• Strong Electrical Engineering background

Responsibilities

• Build proof-of-concept and prototype hardware
• Design EE solutions such as circuits, tests, or calibration procedures
• Perform schematic capture and review layout for complex, mixed-signal PCBs
• Collaborate with cross-functional team for failure analysis and investigation
• Develop automation for validation, testing, and characterization of PCBs
