Performance and Thermal Engineer - Platform Architecture

Job Description

Apple is looking for an enthusiastic Engineer with a strong background in thermal analysis, power measurements, and performance characterization to join the Platform Architecture team.

Requirements

• BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
• Experience with hardware and/or software thermal management solutions
• Experience with power measurements and thermal testing
• Experience with data processing language/library such as Python3, Pandas, Scipy, Numpy, Matplotlib, Matlab or similar

Responsibilities

• Define key metrics to evaluate passive and active cooling solutions
• Analyze the caliber of thermal architectures and gauge its impact on performance of electronic devices
• Inform future direction based on thermal analysis findings
