Customer Service Rep - Onsite

Job Description

Cummins Inc. is seeking a talented Customer Service Representative to join their Supply Chain Planning team in Maxton, NC. The role involves strategic planning, system development, utilization of tools and systems, KPI analysis, operational planning execution, risk mitigation, collaboration, and process improvement within the supply chain.

Requirements

• College, university, or equivalent degree required
• Minimal to intermediate level of experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Experience with Oracle and SAP systems
• Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in Customer Service or account management
• APICS certification would be a bonus, but not required
• CCSP certification from the CSIA would be a bonus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Develop planning system strategies to enhance signal accuracy across the supply chain
• Utilize tools and systems to standardize operations for more consistent outcomes
• Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement
• Execute daily operational planning process to ensure smooth operations
• Identify potential supply chain failures and mitigate associated risks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and innovation
