Job Description

The Data Center Chief Engineer role at Amazon Web Services involves overseeing the maintenance of critical physical infrastructure to ensure 100% availability of MEP operations.

Requirements

Technical (Military/Trade School) training or degree in a relevant field like electrical or mechanical
3+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
3+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience

Responsibilities

Management and leadership of DCEO Engineering Team
Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on critical facility operations and maintenance
Oversee operation and management of various critical systems
Data center capacity planning and reporting
Asset and inventory management
Respond to out of hours emergency calls
Training and development of Engineering Operations Technicians (EOTs)
