Controls Engineer

Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring continual access to innovation for customers.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or other related engineering degrees with 3+ years of Controls related experience; or Associates degree with 5 years of experience; or High School diploma with 8 years of experience
• Experience with industrial controls in critical environments
• 2+ years of experience in Controls or Electrical construction project coordination
• M.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering degree preferred
• Experience with HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems
• Proficiency in communication protocols like TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet, or MODBUS
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis for BMS and EPMS issues
• Train and assist internal customers with BMS and EPMS systems
• Provide technical assistance and support during the data center life cycle
• Develop and manage BMS & EPMS projects
• Participate in procurement activities and global on-call support
• Manage stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and project finances
• Support commissioning activities and controls logic programming
• Regularly report project status and manage service contracts
