Job Description

The Data Center Chief Engineer position at Amazon Web Services involves managing the critical physical infrastructure supporting AWS data centers and ensuring peak efficiency of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a data center or other critical environment
• 4+ years of Facilities Management Experience

Responsibilities

• Management and leadership of DCEO Engineering Team
• Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on critical facility operations and maintenance
• Oversee operation and management of routine and emergency services on critical systems
• Data Center capacity planning and reporting
• Asset and inventory management
• Respond to out-of-hours emergency calls
