Senior Test Engineer, Avionics

Job Description

Amazon is seeking an electrical test engineer to work on the Project Kuiper initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites for global broadband connectivity.

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with lab equipment like spectrum analyzers, signal generators, electronic loads, power supplies, network analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, etc.
• 5+ years testing with SoCs, DRAMs, FPGAs, multi-gigabit interfaces, power converters, sensors, operational amplifiers, and ADCs/DACs
• Experience with complex board designs, high-speed interconnects, avionics, vehicle control systems, etc.
• Experience with debugging designs with microprocessors, FPGAs, power supplies, and sensors

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy and requirements with key stakeholders
• Lead planning and execution of design verification test, qualification, and reliability test campaigns
• Support test engineering team through test system architecture, PCB design, harness design, and test system integration
• Partner with cross-functional teams for test system design and reviews
