Job Description

The Middle-Midle Transportation Technology team at Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to work on solving NP Hard problems in transportation planning to save costs and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design transportation solutions for various Amazon business verticals
• Build distributed systems ensuring high operator and customer experience
• Maintain high standards in software quality through code reviews and reducing tech debt
• Mentor junior engineers in designing and building scalable software
