Software Development Engineer , Aurora

Job Description

Seeking software developers passionate about databases and large-scale storage technologies to work on industry-leading database services architected for the cloud at Amazon Aurora MySQL.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 2+ years experience maintaining and/or using large Cassandra cluster
• 1+ years experience contributing to Apache Cassandra
• 1+ years building large-scale systems or web services

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across diverse teams to have an impact on the global customer base
• Solve challenging technical problems at every layer of the stack
• Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions
• Build high-quality, highly available products
• Participate in design discussions, code review, and communicate with stakeholders
