Job Description

Amazon is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer II to join our AI Technology team within Amazon's Consumer Electronics Technology (CE-Tech) organization. The ideal candidate will work on cutting-edge applications of machine learning and generative AI to enhance customer shopping experiences and vendor/internal tooling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain innovative and scalable ML systems and AI-powered features
• Evaluate AI technologies and architectures when developing solutions
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists to implement and optimize ML models
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage and documentation
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Collaborate with product, applied science, and other key stakeholders
• Build and maintain monitoring systems for ML applications in production
• Contribute to the team's technical strategy and apply best practices for code building and customer scaling requirements
