Job Description

Join Amazon's Project Kuiper to work on designing, developing, and testing Kuiper-MAC FW for low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity via Low Earth Orbit satellites.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software language
• Experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Define multi-dimensional performance requirements
• Make performance and optimization trade-offs
• Build component use-cases/test-cases and debug code
• Profile and execute code on RTOS and/or bare-metal embedded environment
• Contribute to defining services and functionalities of FW-subsystems
• Define, document, test, and debug FW-HW interfaces
• Adhere to SW/FW best practices
