Sr. Touch HW Engineer

Job Description

As a Sr Touch HW Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Materials Science or related field
• Experience in the consumer electronics or touch/display industry as a hardware engineer
• Experience with capacitive touch development, active stylus development, gestures
• Experience in product integration
• Experience with touch/display test equipment and methods

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical engineering lead for display/touch components through the entire product life cycle
• Manage the technical relationship with display and touch vendors
• Perform hands-on bring-up, testing and troubleshooting of touch subsystems and display assemblies
• Function as a subject matter expert on touch, stylus and gestures technology
• Work with cross-functional team to draft component specification and design reviews
• Travel to supplier and contract manufacturer sites worldwide to support product development activities
