Job Description

As an Operations Engineer at Amazon, you will lead and manage cross-functional projects to develop and deliver sortation and distribution solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field
• 0-4 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation
• Experience managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects, implementing automated equipment and/or integrated systems
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional projects for the development and delivery of distribution solutions
• Work independently with internal and external teams to successfully manage project objectives
• Partner with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to drive project schedules and milestones
• Coordinate execution efforts in delivering systems and automated equipment designs
• Lead effective meetings, document discussions, and communicate project status
• Articulate system and equipment designs to internal customers and partner teams
• Manage change order controls, purchase orders, and invoice validation
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiencies
