Systems Engineer/Architect, Amazon Robotics

Job Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking an Interdisciplinary Systems Engineer to join their Manipulation Robotics group. The role involves leading concept development, architecture, and design of robotics systems and industrial equipment.

Requirements

• BS or equivalent experience in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics, or another STEM discipline
• 6+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Define, expand, and explore the design space for multidisciplinary robotics and automation problems
• Identify design choices to ensure products are safe, reliable, and usable at Amazon scale
• Perform technical risk assessments, devise mitigation plans, and create system test strategies
• Develop and communicate system integration and evaluation strategies and plans
