Senior Security Engineer, SecOps Risk

Job Description

AWS Security is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to help ensure that systems and processes are secured against the latest threats.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience working on security team or 7+ years’ equivalent technology experience
• Experience with security architecture and threat modeling
• Incident handling/security response experience

Responsibilities

• Calibration of security findings and development of potential risk mitigations
• Work in tandem with internal Amazon and AWS service teams to improve internal and external services
• Partner with other AWS Security Engineers to implement cross-team solutions
• Influence service teams across Amazon to develop systems and processes with security best practices
• Projects and research work as needed
