Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer, IRQ

Job Description

The Supplier Quality Engineer will manage infrastructure equipment quality and drive quality improvement initiatives within AWS Field Engineering organization.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical, Mechanical or Materials Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of industry experience in construction, project management, manufacturing, or operations support
• 8+ years in a quality management function with direct interaction with suppliers

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Supplier Quality roadmap for complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure equipment
• Manage equipment lifecycle quality by working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Improve equipment quality by identifying and closing gaps through audits and inspections
• Lead root cause analysis and drive quality improvement programs
• Develop new product and supplier qualification plans
• Perform data analysis on failures and drive design improvements
• Work on concurrent projects and demonstrate a can-do attitude
