Mechanical Engineer, Amazon Robotics (AR)

Job Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop innovative hardware designs for robotic systems and enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• SolidWorks or similar CAD experience
• Hands-on experience with proof-of-concept models and prototypes
• Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
• Experience evaluating design, performance, and logistical tradeoffs for hardware systems

Responsibilities

• Execute product designs from concept to production
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and vendors
• Write requirements, specifications, and test procedures
• Design holistic hardware solutions for ambiguous problems
• Lead cross-functional automation of experiments
