Software Development Engineer, EC2 Provisioning

Job Description

The EC2 Server Provisioning team at AWS is responsible for turning new servers into virtualized hosts that run customer workloads across the globe. They are seeking a Software Development Engineer to drive product and operational excellence in this strategically critical space.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices

Responsibilities

• Work on the full lifecycle of software development including requirements, system design, implementation, testing, monitoring, support, alarming, and reporting
• Work closely with technical leaders to refine technical direction and deliver high-quality code
• Own end-to-end responsibilities such as requirements gathering, designs, implementations, mentoring, and continuous improvement
