Senior Electrical Engineer, Amazon Robotics

Job Description

Amazon is seeking a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to work on system design, analog and digital circuit design, and lead a team of Electrical Engineers.

Requirements

• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures
• 10+ years of experience in electrical, firmware, and system level design
• Ability to lead a technical team
• Expertise in schematic entry, layout tools, and design for manufacturability
• Experience with FPGAs, VHDL, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and mixed-signal designs
• Experience with serial communication interfaces (CAN, SPI, Ethernet, etc)
• Experience in motor design and qualification

Responsibilities

• Executing product designs from concept to production including design, prototyping, validation, testing, and certification
• Leading and supporting a technical team on multiple projects in parallel
• Coordinating all activities within the engineering discipline for the project
• Ensuring coordination with other disciplines is effective for each project
• Supporting product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments
• Establishing development processes to meet industry standards for functionally safe control systems
