Senior Operations Engineer, Amazon Logistics

Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to support the Amazon Logistics Process Engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to drive end-to-end product delivery from inception to execution and innovate at scale to develop the next generation of the AMZL delivery station.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field
• 8+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation
• Experience managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects, implementing automated equipment and/or integrated systems
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Initiate, define, plan, and manage the roll-out of product features for the next generation of AMZL Delivery Station
• Work closely with partner teams in Engineering, Tech, and Operations to build impactful products
• Lead execution of the product with a high level of discipline and engagement with the product development teams
• Present concepts, designs, program updates, and roadmap to senior leadership on a frequent basis
• Hold partner teams accountable for delivery of project roadmap
• Drive a culture of innovation across the AMZL Strategic Planning and Process Engineering Org
