Job Description

The Data Center Chief Engineer at Amazon Web Services is responsible for ensuring the electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center operates at peak efficiency.

Requirements

Technical (Military/Trade School) training or degree in a relevant field (electrical, mechanical)
3+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
3+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience

Responsibilities

Management and leadership of DCEO Engineering Team
Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on critical facility operations and maintenance
Oversee operation and management of routine and emergency services on critical systems
Data Center capacity planning and reporting
Asset and inventory management
Respond to out of hours emergency calls
Training and development of EOTs including night shift personnel
